The countdown to the World Cup is officially on and at Sowena Group, we wanted to create something fun that brings together clients, colleagues, partners, friends, and football fans alike.
So, we’re launching the Sowena Group World Cup Fantasy Football League.
Whether you’re a fantasy football veteran or someone who just enjoys the excitement of tournament football, this is your chance to get involved, compete for bragging rights, and enjoy some friendly competition throughout the World Cup.
What is Fantasy Football?
Fantasy football allows you to create your own dream team using real players competing in the World Cup. Your players earn points based on their real-life performances – goals, assists, clean sheets, saves, and more.
As the tournament unfolds, you’ll manage your squad, make transfers, and compete against everyone else in the league to climb the leaderboard.
It’s simple to join, easy to play, and makes every match even more exciting.

- Anyone who enjoys a bit of competition during a major tournament
You don’t need to be a football expert to take part – sometimes the best fantasy teams come from instinct, lucky captain choices, and a bit of tournament magic.
There’s prizes up for grabs!
Of course, no fantasy football league would be complete without a prize.
The overall winner of the Sowena Group World Cup Fantasy Football League will receive a £100 gift voucher of their choice along with the honour of being crowned our inaugural fantasy football champion!
Plus the runner up will get a £50 voucher of their choosing.
We’ll also be sharing updates, league standings, and tournament talking points throughout the competition to keep the conversation going.
