Sowena are exclusively partnered with an acquisitive PE-backed business based in Stockport, who are looking for a new Management Accountant to join their team.
This role will play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for producing the month end management accounts
- Variance analysis and commentary of the monthly results
- Monthly balance sheet production and reconciliations
- Improve month end processes and cut down timetable
- Create and submit all group company VAT returns
- Produce weekly flash P&L reports and lead internal call
- Produce ad hoc analysis depending on the business needs
Requirements
- Fully Qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Good communication skills, especially to non finance colleagues
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
